It is possible to distribute a specific product evenly over the entire surface of the leather (from 2.5 to 20 grams per square foot). This allows the leather to be finished without spraying, guaranteeing a high degree of softness. It is therefore possible to apply pre-bottoms, oils, bottoms and waxes to cold on crusts, frosted and full grain.

Spray finishing

Spray finishing is carried out using machinery consisting of large drying tunnels and cabins, in which the hides are run. In the latter, there are guns that, thanks to specific high-speed movements, spray on the surface of the skin, to change its color.

Hand-dyed and staining

The hand-dyed peocess has very ancient origins and is still handcrafted by us today. This processing is carried out on carpets, above which runs the leather that will be treated and colored with special artisan techniques by specialized workers. Similar processing is that of staining, which is performed again by a skilled worker.

Fulling

Filling is a process by which the skin is softened and specific characteristics are given to it. For this procedure, specific drums are used at a predetermined temperature and humidity

Ironing

Ironing is the process by which the leather is subjected to a heat treatment with special rollers, to guarantee the required gloss level.

Physical tests

In the special laboratory dedicated to physical tests, checks are carried out to ensure the quality and strength of the final product.

Choice and measurement

This is one of the most delicate moments, in which the customer ascertains the quality of the work and the desired result. For this reason, a sector of the company was used solely for the choosers, to facilitate their work.

The measurement allows to determine the surface area of the leather. This process includes identification labeling with barecode and stamping of the area on each skin.

Packaging

The packaging is the time of storage of the final finished material, placed on pallets or on trestles. The skins are arranged in bunches, or are rolled up to facilitate their compactness during shipping. Our main orders include air and sea shipment or collection at the home of the company.
